{"id":342,"date":"2011-02-13T20:10:42","date_gmt":"2011-02-13T19:10:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.opener.ou.nl\/?p=342"},"modified":"2011-02-13T20:10:42","modified_gmt":"2011-02-13T19:10:42","slug":"oer-challenge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.robertschuwer.nl\/?p=342","title":{"rendered":"OER Challenge"},"content":{"rendered":"<table border=\"0\" width=\"100%\">\n<tbody>\n<tr align=\"center\">\n<td><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Photo by quinet@flickr.com\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.opener.ou.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/quinet.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" height=\"180\" \/><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>Als voorbereiding op de online meeting over de OER University waar ik in mijn <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.opener.ou.nl\/?p=337\" target=\"_blank\">vorige blogpost<\/a> over schreef heb ik de OER challenge gedaan.<br \/>\nDeze challenge geeft je een idee over waar het bij een OER university om gaat:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Het stellen van eigen leerdoelen<\/li>\n<li>Zoeken naar leermaterialen waarmee de leerdoelen (deels) kunnen worden behaald<\/li>\n<li>Zoeken naar mogelijkheden om m.b.v. de leermaterialen te leren. Het kan zijn dat de materialen zodanig zijn dat de leerdoelen in zijn geheel door het bestuderen van de materialen gehaald kunnen worden, maar het kan ook zijn dat additionele activiteiten nodig zijn om de leerdoelen te behalen. Dat is afhankelijk van de leermaterialen en de leerdoelen.<\/li>\n<li>Zoeken naar een instituut dat de leerinspanningen wil toetsen en certificeren<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>Paul Stacey omschreef de challenge als volgt:<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<div>The OER Challenge is a dare to all of you that tests out the ideas behind the  OER University.<\/div>\n<div>The OER challenge is a three step dare:<\/div>\n<div>\n<strong>Step 1.  Identify a set of learning objectives you personally want to achieve.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>These can be formal or informal.<\/li>\n<li>You can find and pursue learning objectives that are part of formal academic  offering.<\/li>\n<li>You can identify informal personal learning objectives that are an area of  interest you&#8217;d like to know more about or skill you&#8217;d like to acquire.<\/li>\n<li>Reply to this OER Challenge post with your objectives in point  form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Step 2. Find OER that help you meet those learning  objectives.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pair the OER you find with the learning objectives you identified in step 1.<\/li>\n<li>Try and find OER that not only includes content relevant to your learning  objectives but learning activities too.<\/li>\n<li>Reply to your Step 1 OER challenge post with a follow-on posts or series of  posts identifying OER related to your learning objectives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Step 3.  Identify who you&#8217;d like to have as your OER credentialing agent.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Who is qualified to assess you to ensure the learning has occurred?<\/li>\n<li>Who would you like to see as the entity that publicly states that you have  achieved those learning objectives?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Mijn challenge formuleerde ik rond mijn wens de snaartheorie ooit eens zodanig te begrijpen dat ik het aan anderen kan uitleggen. Hoe dat uitpakte heb ik <a href=\"http:\/\/scope.bccampus.ca\/mod\/forum\/user.php?id=14649&amp;course=8\" target=\"_blank\">hier<\/a> beschreven. Mijn eerste ervaringen zijn dat het vinden van geschikt leermateriaal relatief eenvoudig was, maar dat ik er nog niet in ben geslaagd additionele diensten te vinden waar ik, al dan niet tegen betaling, online bijvoorbeeld van gedachten kan wisselen met experts (bijvoorbeeld door het stellen van vragen).
